 Method to translate evidence into practice

*“Sufficient saturation” occurs when the same points are reiterated in all groups and ideas become repetitive. As a rule of thumb, six meetings are recommended to reach this point.8
1Use existing reviews of reviews to identify best practice
2Draw up a “longlist” of interventions based on reviews of reviews
3Reduce to a shortlist of interventions through consensus process considering:
• quality of evidence
• potential transferability
• applicability to real-world conditions
• burden of injury
• potential to impact inequalities in health
4Convene appraisal of practice field meetings until “sufficient saturation” is reached*
5Verification of meeting summaries by participants
