Welcome to the research from the Society for Advancement of Violence and Injury Research (SAVIR) 2022 Conference!

The theme of this year’s conference, Injury Prevention for the Ages: Advancing Violence and Injury Research Across the Lifespan, recognizes the unfortunate ubiquitous reality of injury and violence that exists for individuals of all ages. From pediatric to geriatric populations, the burden of injury is significant, although the risks factors, social determinants of health, and injury prevention strategies can markedly vary between age groups.
