This is a useful text with a slant towards practices and perspectives rooted in the UK. It is divided into three sections: Principles of Injury Prevention, Practice of Injury Prevention and The Future. Each section is then composed of four chapters. Each chapter starts with a set of learning objectives and ends with a chapter summary making it easy for the reader to glean in advance what may be useful and worthy of further indepth reading. Additionally, the Key Messages section at the rear of the book provides a concise synopsis of each chapter further serving as a guide to readers in selecting chapters or sections for more or less attention.
