Open invitation to define a global research agenda for violence and injury prevention

Statistics from

We cordially invite colleagues to participate in an initial meeting to discuss a global research agenda for violence and injury prevention. The meeting will be held at the Safety 2010 World Conference in London, UK on Thursday 23 September, 18:00–19:30. We welcome participants from all geographic areas and fields in injury and violence prevention, as the spirit of this meeting is to be inclusive and equitable. During the meeting, a draft research agenda will be presented and discussed among meeting participants. We expect that this meeting will be the first of many convened in physical or virtual environments to further discuss this topic, with the ultimate goal of creating a widely accepted global research agenda for violence and injury prevention.

If you would like to contribute to the development of the pre-meeting draft please contact: Andrés Villaveces at: avillav{at} (Subject: Draft Agenda).
